Honoring Hecate Doesn't Mean that Your a Witch

Before people get their panties in a bunch over this title I would like to clear up that I’m not insulting people. One of the things that always seem to hit people when they see you honoring Hecate. And this always happens at Pagan Pride gatherings! It’s assumed that your a witch. No, just because someone honors Hecate doesn’t mean that they cast spells and do charms. Hecate was honored by people that weren’t witches but needed her protection and one of the ways that they did it was have niches outside of their home.

Hecate worship doesn’t equal witchcraft. Now there are those people out there that do practice witchcraft, call themselves a witch, and honor/worship Hecate. But that doesn’t mean that everyone that worships/honors Hecate is a witch. That’s what the title means. I’m one of those that do call themselves a witch and does honor Hecate. However I understand those that don’t and still honor her. Have a good one and may Hecate bless you.
